5 Ways Touch Therapy Can Help You Release Pain From Your Past.

As children, some of us have had traumatic experiences that have shaped us into who we have become today. Some of these experiences have created "MONSTERS!" Yet, many of us have never dealt with these issues. As a result, we use these experiences as a crutch or an excuse to abuse others. These individuals who we abuse sometimes are our husbands, children, brothers, sisters, and/or friends. There comes a time in everyone's life when we must face our past before it destroys our future.

Here are 5 ways touch therapy can help release pain from your past.

  1. Be kind to yourself. Address yourself as the Queen/King you are. Sit or stand in front of a mirror and embrace yourself, giving yourself a hug.

  2. Take both hands and place them on your chest, take a deep breath, hold it for 15 to 30 seconds, and let the breath go.

  3. Next, cover your eyes with your hands. Breathe in again and hold that breath for 30 seconds. This time, visualize yourself releasing the painful thoughts. Open your eyes and let the breath go.

  4. This time, bring your hands to your lips. Breathe in again and hold that breath for 30 seconds. Remove your hands from your lips and let the breath go. Speak the words, I release this pain and I forgive you.

  5. Whenever you feel the need to hurt someone because you are angry, visualize that person as who you saw in the mirror. Forgive them and walk away.

Spread love only.
