Three Reasons Why You Should Consider Adding Mushrooms To Your Diet.
Many people who eat mushrooms say they do because of the amazing flavor they add to a dish. There are others who not only hate the taste but many say that it is the smell of mushrooms they despise. If one can acquire a taste and smell for this amazing vegetable/fungi, it will benefit you greatly!
Here are three reasons why...
Mushrooms are high in vitamin D. Vitamin D is essential for maintaining strong bones, healthy teeth, and a healthy heart.
Mushrooms have the potential to lower your risk of developing cancer. They are high in ergothioneine. This is an amino acid and antioxidant that has the ability to slow cell damage in order to combat disease. https://academic.oup.com/jn/article/144/7/1128S/4569770
Mushrooms promote a healthy gut. This will assist your bowels to eliminate toxins with healthy bacteria.
Eating fresh mushrooms will help to provide you with these great benefits. Caned mushrooms are usually salty with fewer nutrients. If you love mushrooms, try eating them once a week. However, if you hate them, try cutting them up and sauteing them using olive oil with onions, garlic, and bell peppers at least twice a month. Add them to a fish, chicken, or steak dinner. This may become one of your favorite meals!

I had been adding mushrooms to my diet but have always be leery of them. I know we have to be careful about the ones we eat. I saw an herbalist from the Island who told us not to eat any mushrooms because they all are fungus. What do you think about the info that was shared with the public about fungus.
Thank you for the feedback! 🙏🏾♥️
