Honoring Those Who Face Their Fears And Stand Up When They Fall Down.
I am sure you have heard the saying, "life is what you make it." Many of us have had experiences that would make a person question that statement. Especially when a situation appears to be so overwhelming that we would never have intentionally put ourselves in harm's way.
When some people are faced with a challenge, they may fear that they are in danger of losing something. Whether physical, emotional, or symbolic, losing is not always a good feeling. Moreover, it is never our plan to lose. However, what we do as a result of a loss has the potential to make us strong.
Learning from our mistakes, makes us remember how they made us feel. We don't ever want to feel that pain again. We will do everything in our power to never allow that experience to happen again. The truth is that we may not be able to control every situation that causes us harm.
Facing and embracing our fears gives us the strength we need to overcome insurmountable odds! Situations we would have never believed we could. There is always help if you are in need. (Virginia Crisis Hotline 988)
